Actual Care Services is a professional, diverse and forward - thinking Care Company, situated in the heart of Birmingham. Our Services will provide you with Quality Care into your homes for you or your loved ones.
Our services work in conjunction with various councils including Birmingham City council,
and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. We also work alongside healthcare
professionals like the NHS.
We also work closely alongside CQC (Care Quality Commission) who is the independent
regulators of health and adult social care England, responsible for ensuring that our care services provide safe, effective, and high-quality care.
All our staff have Enhanced DBS's with full reference checks carried out. We are led by quality, we employ and train all our staff to the highest level.

Personal care
Our personal care services are tailored on the individuals care needs in the comfort of their own homes. The tasks that are required to support the individuals with their personal care needs like washing, dressing which also includes support with their mobility needs is always delivered with dignity and respect.
Whether it’s help getting ready in the morning or assistance throughout the day, we tailor our approach to each person’s comfort and preferences.

End Of Life Care
We offer compassionate end of life care that focuses on prioritising comfort, dignity, quality of life for both the patient and their family. Working closely with families and healthcare professionals like the Palliative Care Team, we create a peaceful environment where individuals feel safe, valued, and cared for in their final days.

Overnight Care
We provide waking nights to ensure we monitor our patients throughout the night. The caregiver stays awake and alert throughout the night to provide assistance and supervision to the individuals who may require help with nighttime tasks, experience anxiety or simply need reassurance that someone is available if needed. This may also include offering help with mobility, medication management and emergency support.
Sleeping nights is when the caregiver stays in the individual’s home but may sleep during non-active hours, providing reassurance and companionship. This service is ideal for those who need occasional assistance, such as help with mobility or toileting needs, ensuring the individuals comfort and safety throughout the night.

Supported Living
Supported living refers to a form of care that enables individuals to live independently in their own home while receiving tailored support to make sound decisions about their own care. We at Actual Care Services also provide accommodation allowing residents to maintain their independence whilst offering personal care assistance, support with household tasks like shopping and cleaning, guidance with budgeting and managing finances. We also offer emotional and mental health support to help residents maintain their well-being. Supported living is designed to provide a high level of support without being in residential care, allowing individuals to choose their environment and life style.

All you need to know
Yes, we pay extra incentive for drivers (from your first call)
Yes, you are entitled to SSP and annual leave (based on accrued hours)
The areas we cover are South-Central and West Birmingham and Sandwell. We expect our staff either to travel via their own transport or to use public transport wherever the client is
located.
Actual Care Services will give you a zero-hour contract, however due to the demand of calls you can work upto 40 hours a week (i.e. Mon - Sun).
After the successful interview, we can offer part time or full time hours.
We have separate rates which covers Birmingham City Council, Sandwell Council, Private Clients and Direct Payment managed
accounts.
